Metal Back Plate

The rear part of the Pride Sookht Ama front brake pad, which connects to the braking system, is made from a metal backing plate.

This metal plate provides structural support for the brake pad, increasing its strength and durability.

Sookht Ama brake pad back plates are manufactured using fine presses and are made according to the approved specifications and thickness set by car manufacturers.

Friction Material

The front surface of the Pride Sookht Ama brake pad, which contacts the brake disc, contains high-quality friction materials, including Korean organic powders.

These materials offer excellent heat resistance, consistent braking performance, and long service life.

10 Signs of Front Brake Pad Wear for Pride

  1. Squealing Noise:
A scratching or metal-on-metal sound indicates worn pads and that it’s time to replace the front brake pads.
  2. Grinding or Growling Sounds:
This occurs when the metal component above the pad contacts the brake disc. Ignoring it can damage the rotor, leading to higher repair costs.
  3. Worn Pads:
Brake pads wear out over time depending on usage and material quality. They must be replaced at intervals recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
  4. Vehicle Pulling When Braking:
The car pulling to one side can indicate worn brake pads, though other issues may also cause this.
  5. Increased Brake Pedal Travel:
If the pedal sinks more than usual or feels soft, the brake pads may be worn.
  6. Brake Warning Light On:
A warning light may illuminate due to severely worn pads. Note that brake fluid level and pad thickness are directly related, so topping up fluid may not always solve the issue.
  7. Handbrake Light On While Driving:
This can indicate worn brake pads.

  8. Knocking Noise When Braking
  9. Reduced Braking Performance
  10. Oily Brake Pads:
If the pads become contaminated with oil due to leaks, try cleaning them with a suitable solvent. If contamination is severe, replace the pads. Signs include weak or uneven braking, vehicle pulling, smoke, or unusual odors.
